Television in a motorhome is a different job from television at home. The screen has to run off a leisure battery as happily as off a hookup, the signal has to be found again at every stop, and the whole lot has to survive being driven around Europe.
This section gathers the parts that do that job: the 12V smart screens themselves, the aerials that feed them, a portable satellite kit for pitches where terrestrial reception runs out, sound, and the case the screen travels in.
Falcon’s screens run on 12V, 24V and 240V, so one television works off the battery in a lay-by and off a campsite hookup in France with no inverter in between. The tuners are DVB-T2 and DVB-S2, the terrestrial and satellite pair used across Europe, and the smart platform adds streaming whenever there is wifi or a mobile connection on board.
Which of these you actually need is decided by where you park. An aerial is light, cheap and always attached. A portable dish takes a few minutes to set up and does not care how far away the nearest transmitter is. Plenty of tourers end up carrying both, and use whichever the pitch rewards.
Nothing in this section is fitted for you. Everything here is designed to be mounted, plugged in or unpacked by the person who owns the vehicle, which is how it should be when the vehicle moves country every few days.
On a mains hookup, yes. Off-grid it is a poor trade: a mains set needs an inverter to run from your leisure battery, and the inverter takes its own cut of the power before the screen sees any of it. A 12V television draws straight from the battery, which is the whole reason touring screens are built that way.
Three things: a screen, a power feed and a signal. The screen and the power feed arrive together on a 12V set. The signal is the part that varies from stop to stop, and comes from an aerial, a dish or your own mobile connection. The Falcon TV range covers the screen end of that.
An aerial is lighter, cheaper and permanently with you, and it works wherever a terrestrial transmitter is within reach. A dish takes a few minutes to set up outside and is indifferent to local transmitter coverage, so it earns its place on quiet rural pitches and in mountains. See our satellite range for the portable option.
Yes, when you have a connection. Campsite wifi is usually the weak link, so people who stream regularly bring their own. That is separate kit from the television: see our mobile internet range.

Just received my Falcon Mobile WiFi Router 4G Combo Deluxe and what a joy to behold, from unboxing the hard padded storage case containing all we need to get on line in our caravan, the ease of setting up was fantastic within 5 mins of plugging in the power cable I was on line. Can recommend this piece of kit.Posted on Google![]()

Posted on Google![]()

As well as excellent products, Falcon’s customer service is second to none. They are very responsive and helpful. I use two products: the wireless reversing camera and the 5g mobile WiFi router. I am very, very happy with both. The products are of excellent build quality and you feel that Falcon really understands their market by including useful features and equipment. It’s a pleasure buying from them and using their products.
