Every television here is a full smart set built to be driven around. They run on 12V, 24V and 240V, so the same screen works off a leisure battery, off a campsite hookup and off a socket at home, with no inverter in the middle and no second power brick to lose behind a locker.
The WebOS platform puts streaming apps on the screen whenever there is wifi or your own mobile connection on board, and the DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 tuners handle terrestrial and satellite broadcasts without a set-top box in the way. When there is no signal and no connection at all, the built-in region-free DVD player still works, which is the reason a lot of tourers choose this range over a thin domestic television.
Sizes run from 19 to 32 inch. For most vans a 19 to 24 inch screen is the sensible size: large enough to watch properly, light enough to mount safely on a wall that moves, and easy on the battery. Larger motorhomes with a fixed lounge can carry 27 or 32 inch comfortably.
Slim bezels, low weight and a standard VESA mounting pattern mean these fit where a domestic set will not, and putting one up is a job for the owner rather than a workshop.
Not quickly. A 19 to 24 inch 12V set draws a few amps, so an evening’s viewing is a small share of a healthy leisure battery. The same evening on a mains set through an inverter costs noticeably more, because the inverter takes its cut before the screen does.
That is the price of a slim, light cabinet, and it is normal. Bluetooth 5.0 sends the sound to headphones or a speaker, and a 12V soundbar sits under the screen and runs off the same supply. See our soundbar page.
Take it off the bracket and put it in a padded hard case for the journey. Screens are far more likely to be broken in transit or in winter storage than in use. See our carry case page.
A signal source, a 12V feed and a bracket. The upgraded handset for the WebOS sets is on our accessories page.
