Nothing in this category includes a router. These are antenna sets, sold for owners who already have a portable 4G or 5G router with TS9 antenna sockets, and for anyone upgrading an older Falcon system where the router is still perfectly good.
That is the whole difference between this page and the 5G kits. The hardware is the same antenna in both cases. Buying here saves paying a second time for a router you already own, and it is the wrong page if you do not have one, because an antenna on its own cannot create a network.
Check the connector before you buy. These antennas terminate in the TS9 plugs that portable routers use for an external antenna, so the router needs those sockets, usually behind a small rubber flap on the side or the base. If your router has no external antenna sockets at all, no antenna will help it and a complete kit is the honest answer.
There are two mounting styles here. A roof antenna is permanent, low-profile and always pointed correctly, and it needs one hole in the roof and one cable run inside. A window antenna holds with a suction cup or a magnet, takes about a minute, leaves no mark and travels with you. The EVO 5G Flex set includes both, plus the docking station that connects them to the router.
The roof antennas are omni-directional, which means they take signal from every direction and never have to be aimed at a mast. The window antennas go on whichever pane gives the clearest view out. Either way, there is nothing to align when you arrive.
No. Every product in this category is the antenna half of the system only. It is intended for owners who already have a portable 4G or 5G router with TS9 antenna sockets, or who are replacing the antenna on an older Falcon installation. If you need the router as well, the complete versions of these same systems are listed under our 5G kits.
A window antenna, because it needs no fixing and comes with you. The EVO 5G Flex set covers both cases at once: a roof antenna for the vehicle, a portable antenna for when the router leaves it, and a docking station that connects whichever one is in use.
The Sniper roof antenna. It is a low-profile omni-directional antenna with a single-hole fixing, two integrated SMA cables and an IP66 rating, built to stay on the roof year round. It is wideband, so it works on 5G where that is available and falls back through 4G, 3G and 2G where it is not.
The window antennas are the simplest thing in the range: wet the suction cup, press it to the glass, plug the two leads into the router’s antenna sockets. The roof antennas need a single hole through the roof for the cable, properly sealed, then the cable run down to the router or docking station. It is a job an owner can do in an afternoon with ordinary tools, which is the point of a self-fit antenna on a vehicle you would rather not book into a workshop.
