This is the passive one. There is no amplifier inside it and no USB lead to find: the magnet holds it on the roof, the coax goes into the television’s aerial socket, and that is the entire installation. Nothing to power means nothing drawing on the battery and nothing to fail.
It stands 5 inches tall, is sealed to IP68 for permanent outdoor use, and is omni-directional, so there is nothing to aim. It carries terrestrial television and DAB radio down the same lead on a standard coaxial plug, and suits a car, van, campervan, motorhome, caravan, boat or a spare room at home equally well.
Being passive is a deliberate choice rather than a saving. An amplifier only helps where a signal is present but weak, and where coverage is good it can overload the tuner instead. This antenna is plug and play with no extra installation: plug it in, place it on the roof and run a retune. As it is omni-directional it will pick up the majority of channels without the need to keep moving it around.
It is fully waterproofed to IP 68 so it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and comes fitted with a standard TV Co-axial plug.
Part of the aerial range. Where the signal is weak rather than simply present, the amplified version is the better choice.
Terrestrial coverage changes from country to country and there is no single national service across the continent, so retune at every new site. A different pitch usually means a different transmitter and a different channel list.
The aerial needs no power and no setting up. Put it on the roof, run the coax to the set, and that is the installation. Shipped across Europe with the euro price including delivery and tax.

ADRIAN DAVIE –
Hi All,
Well…just got back into `caravans` ..needed a TV aerial for my Eriba Pontos GT, using a 24″ TV from the house, [on mains power]. Did a bit of `you tube` searching and came up with this thing. Its called a Falcon High Performance Mobile DVB-T antenna, It stands about 6-7 inches tall, about as fat as medium Cuban cigar with a magnetic base [and removable rubber cover] . Its omni directional, so need to face it any particular direction. Set up, place in a suitable open, high up as safely possible [mine was on top of my car] position. Plug the aerial in the TV..tune TV..hey presto….wife happy she can now watch Love Island in the van ,in bed..and me as the slave..My first thoughts were, NO CHANCE! of this working ….how wrong can one be..spoke to Chris at Falcon about another subject, very help full. Thank you Falcon
Matthew James –
I needed a quick way to be able to get a good tv signal when I went away without having to go outside and set a satellite dish up. I Called up falcon and got told that this is easy enough to put outside my window and I would pick up hundreds of channels, I was a bit skeptical at first, then when it came I plugged it in put it out my window and picked up 157 channels on the 1st scan! very impressed, thanks guys.
