A Falcon camera system is two parts: a camera at the back of the vehicle and a 7 inch monitor that clips over the mirror you already use. Nothing new appears on the dashboard, and the picture sits where you look anyway when you are reversing onto a pitch or watching the traffic behind you on a long drive south.
The range splits by how the camera is powered and held. The magnetic system runs on its own rechargeable battery, topped up by a small solar panel, and sits on a coated metal plate bonded to the panel, so nothing is drilled into the bodywork. The Full HD system is wired to a 12V permanent feed at the rear, resolves higher, and is supplied with either one camera or two.
Both are meant to be fitted by the owner. There is no bodywork to cut, the monitor powers from a USB lead or a 12V socket, and the camera reaches the monitor over a wireless link rather than a video cable run the length of the vehicle. If you tow, the monitor goes in the towing vehicle and the camera stays on the caravan, which is why the quoted range matters more on an outfit than on a van.

For most motorhomes and caravans it is the FN-MWCS7-R magnetic system, because it asks least of the vehicle: the camera sits on a bonded plate, runs on its own battery and lifts off again. Look at the Full HD system instead if you would rather have a permanently powered camera and the higher 1080p resolution.
They are designed to be fitted by the owner, with no bodywork to cut. The magnetic camera needs no drilling at all: you bond the supplied metal plate to a clean panel and the camera holds itself on. The Full HD camera is the more involved of the two, because it needs a 12V permanent feed at the back of the vehicle. In both cases the monitor clips over the existing mirror and powers from a USB lead or a 12V socket.
Yes. Each monitor pairs with up to four cameras and can show them one at a time, split, three up or four up, so you can start with the rear view and add a nearside or habitation door view later. Extra cameras and the fixings that go with them sit with the spares and add-ons for these systems.
Yes. On a motorhome or a van the camera goes on the rear panel and the monitor in the cab. On an outfit the camera goes on the caravan and the monitor in the towing vehicle, so there is more distance between the two and the quoted wireless range matters more.
